overview
An American Classic, Little Women: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, was the first production performed in the newly renovated Penn Yan Academy auditorium. The story, written by Louisa May Alcott, follows the lives of four sisters —Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March in Concord, Mass. in the mid 1800s. The performance follows the storyline of the first half of the popular 1994 film version of Alcott’s work, which was originally published in two volumes.
